Scuba Diving in Kovalam! Yes its true !

You will be looking forward for an adventure trip to enjoy natures’s beauty and adventure. From April 20th onwards, Scuba diving has been started at Kovalam, Trivandrum,Kerala. You can enjoy the under water beauty and can explore the aquatic life. Department of ports has made a tremendous change in the adventorus sports at Kovalam.

Initial Training

There will be an initial training for thee people who don’t’ have experience in underwater sports. The training will be given inside a pool.. Youcan see the multipurpose artificial reef. This is installed between the Edakkal Rocks and the light house of the Lighthouse beach. Then you can enjoy watching the marine life.

Charges

There minimum charge for this wonderful underwater adventure sport is Rs 5000 per head.There is maximum of 4 persons for Scuba Diving at a timeIn a boat ,you will be taken at a distance of 500 m from the shore and another boat will be provided for tailing you. You can upyo a depth of 5ft.

Your Safety!

Safety is the most important priority for all adventure sports. Each person will be accompanied with trained professional. Swimming goggles, Breathing apparatus and 5 sets of Swimming Suits will be provided for your safety Water Sports. You can take an underwater water proof camera to click the unfogetable moments in Underwater.

The minimum age limit for Scuba Diving is 15 years. The Kerala Adventure Tourism Promotion Society manages Scuba Diving
